Rent Assistance

This program is designed to assist families pay rent to prevent homelessness. The program is given an allocation for the year and it will close when the allocation has been obligated.

Eligibility
Be at or below 50% median income:
1 $24,500
2 $28,000
3 $31,500
4 $35,000
5 $37,800
6 $40,600
7 $43,400
8 $46,200


*Be current residents of Multnomah County or those who intend to settle within the County limits upon receipt of assistance.

*Household must have attempted to access other public resources prior to accessing these funds.

* Household must participate in a case management plan.

*Household must have future earnings where rent is no more than 60% of their gross income.

* Household future earnings cannot be from a temporary source.

*Landlord must agree to all terms and conditions of the rental assistance agreement.
