Aging Services
Aging Services Case Manager Downtown: Full time, non-exempt
status. Pay range is 11.96 to 14.35/hr. The Aging Services
Case Manager is responsible for providing Case Management
services and Information and Assistance to older adults in
accordance with Multnomah County Aging Services Division Case
Management Standards. Minimum qualification include Bachelors
degree in Social Services, Nursing, Health Gerontology or
related field; MSW preferred. 1 to 2 years experience in case
management field, preferably in working with elderly. Ability
to communicate with clients, families, service providers,
community members and co-workers, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of human behavior and the aging process. Knowledge
of social and health intervention techniques. Culturally responsive.
Self initiative and ability to work as a team player. Must
have valid drivers license, 5 years driving history,
personal vehicle and be able to drive agency vehicles. Must
pass a criminal background check and be insurable by the agency.

Head Start
Program Manager: 1.0 FTE, Exempt position with good
benefits available after February 12, 2010. Hiring range:
$48,000 - $52,000/yr. The Head Start (Oregon Prekindergarten)
Program Manager serves as the director of both the NH Head
Start and Early OPK program components and must have demonstrated
skills and abilities in a management capacity. Previous Head
Start program management and a track record of achieving Performance
Standards are required. Minimum educational and experiential
requirements are: Bachelors degree in Social Work, Education,
Health, Program Management and 6 years program management
experience or Masters degree and 4 years program management
experience. Applicants are sought who can take a program with
a tradition of excellence and bring it to continued program
success through creative programming ideas, culturally appropriate
services and collaborative partnerships both within the agency
and across the community. Must be skilled at staff supervision,
program monitoring and the development of systems that track
outputs and support outcomes evaluation. Must demonstrate
the ability to write detailed reports, policies and action
plans, develop detailed budgets and respond to grant opportunities.
Must be able to pass criminal background check, be insurable
as driver by agency and be accepted for the Oregon Child Care
Registry.
